Haelix design valves. Performance and design in one.

Not long ago, ventilation systems were seen as purely functional components. However, there's been a shift in focus. Since these systems are present in nearly every room of a modern home, the design of visible elements, like valves, has gained importance, as they influence a building's interior. Ubbink's Haelix valves successfully blend high performance and installation ease with aesthetic appeal.

Finish or performance: a continuous challenge

The Haelix valves' timeless design provides an elegant finish to any residential ventilation system. Available in both round (Rondo) and square (Quadro) versions, they seamlessly integrate into any interior. Their universal aesthetic allows them to blend effortlessly into both classic and modern styles. The wide border prevents dirt build up on walls and ceilings, ensuring that the installation area not only looks clean upon completion but stays that way for easy, long-term maintenance.

Effortless installation

Haelix valves are very easy to install, requiring no tools, which is a major benefit for installers. They easily fit into any 125 mm valve adapter, making the installation process both quick and less prone to errors. The EPDM seal guarantees a leak-free connection, ensuring reliability and durability. Their universal application underlines their versatility, as well as their aesthetic appeal.

Optimised air distribution

Beyond ease of installation, Haelix valves provide optimal air distribution by harnessing the Coanda effect. This allows air flow along a curved surface to follow that surface’s shape, altering its flow direction. The Haelix valves fully leverage this effect through their integrated fan-shaped air distributor, ensuring even air distribution across the ceiling or wall. This results in balanced air circulation throughout the room and minimises unpleasant drafts.

Additionally, these valves are designed for quiet operation, thanks to the precision-crafted air distributor and 9-stage airflow limiter. Internal regulation, along with the magnetic cover plate, ensures consistent performance across all valves, regardless of setting. The 9-stage adjustment allows precise control of air volume, guaranteeing quiet functionality even with unexpected system variations or changes in the installation.
