Ubbink Launches the Contego: A New Ventilation Wall Duct

Ubbink has expanded its wall terminal range with the introduction of the Contego, a sleek and practical solution for the supply and exhaust of ventilation air. Combining a timeless design with simple installation, the Contego offers both technical advantages and greater design flexibility for installers.

Easy to Install, Built to Last

Like the well-known Ventus, the Contego is suitable for both air supply and exhaust. Its streamlined design ensures low air resistance, contributing to efficient airflow.

The duct is partially made from UV-resistant PP material and features a clever cover with multiple benefits:

  • A wall plate that hides old screw holes and makes installation straight forward.
  • A design that prevents water drips and minimises dirt buildup.
  • A bottom grille that keeps out insects and other pests.

Available in many standard diameters, the Contego integrates seamlessly with Ubbink’s Aerfoam insulated duct system. Because the inner diameter matches other Ubbink ducts, airflow resistance is reduced—allowing fans to work less and consume less energy. For added security, airtight sleeves are available in all sizes, ensuring a 100% airtight seal.

More Flexibility in System Design

The Contego offers installers more freedom in designing air distribution systems. Instead of relying on two roof ducts, one duct can now be routed through the wall—reducing duct lengths and simplifying installation.

This is particularly useful when roof space is limited, such as when the south side is fully covered with solar panels. With the Contego, one duct can be placed on the north-facing roof, while the other can be integrated through the façade.
